How Standii Measures and Compares Height

Standii is a visual height comparison tool built to make height differences easier to understand. Search for people or groups, place them on the comparison wall, and see the difference on a shared scale.

The number and the picture do different jobs

The listed height is the measurement used to place a person on the wall. The cutout image gives the comparison a human shape, but it is not used to estimate the person’s height. That distinction matters because photos can be cropped, posed, or taken from different angles.

When you compare two people, Standii aligns their feet to the same floor and scales the lineup from their listed heights. This makes the height difference visible without asking you to judge size from a photograph alone.

Where the information comes from

Standii profiles may use an official listing, a reliable published source, a team or league listing, or a carefully reviewed reference. Some public heights are estimates or rounded values, especially when no official measurement is available.

When a profile includes source or verification information, it is shown with the profile. If you notice an error, use the correction form so the listing can be reviewed instead of treating every number as equally certain.

How to use a comparison

Use the wall to answer practical questions: who is taller, how large is the difference, and how does a whole group compare? Switch between centimeters and feet/inches, organize a lineup by height, or share a comparison when you find an interesting result.

The best comparison is a starting point for curiosity, not a claim that every source is perfectly precise. Read the profile details, consider the source, and remember that posture, footwear, and measurement conditions can affect real-world observations.
